The project is the compilation of numerous projects including, the synthesis of new molecules for Na-ion redox flow, advanced studies of solid electrolytes for Li-metal batteries in-situ NMR/MRI and high-resolution in situ MAH/MAS NMR, interface characterisation and materials exploration in advanced batteries for energy storage, solid-state NMR of organic shales, advanced sodium batteries roe energy storage – materials exploration and cell-level hybrid flow battery testing, the dyson magnesium-ion battery project, and the characterisation of UMICORE and related NMC materials.
